Q: What is the process for making a custom garment?
A: Creating a custom garment starts with an idea. First, Cassandra meets with the client for a collaborative design and development meeting. Then there is the design and material selection which may or may not happen at the first meeting. Next, is the first toile fitting where the client tries on a cotton mock-up of their garment. The second toile fitting usually incorporates materials to be utilized in the final garments. There are third, fourth and final fittings as necessary. Lastly, the client will try on and pick up their completed garment.
Q: How long does the entire bespoke process take?
A: On average, it takes a minimum of six months to make a wedding gown and a minimum of four months for other dresses, however Cassandra Rose takes pride in her ability to handle any challenge, so please contact her at any time and she will do whatever she can.

A: Bespoke wedding gowns receive an average of 100+ hours of personalized attention throughout the design, construction and fitting process.

A: Cassandra is an expert in working with vintage garments. She is an expert at both updating and re-creating vintage garments. She has worked restoring and cleaning vintage garments for nearly ten years. Today she works with safe, gentle, non-toxic, silicone-based professional cleaners to ensure that all vintage garments are cleaned before and during the restoration process.
